2. How the App Works (Local Processing)
Image-to-Palette Feature
When you use the color palette generator feature with an uploaded image:

Once you close the app or clear the data, the image is no longer accessible

Color palettes are generated locally on your device

Brand kits are created and stored locally on your device

3. Data Processing
What Happens to Your Images
Upload: You select or capture an image on your device
Analysis: The image is analyzed locally using color extraction algorithms
Generation: Color palettes are generated from the image on your device
Storage: Generated palettes are stored locally in the app
Deletion: Images are NOT permanently stored and are cleared from memory after processing
What Happens to Your Palettes
Creation: Palettes are created and stored in your device's app sandbox
Management: You can edit, organize, and manage palettes within the app
Export: You can export palettes in various formats (JSON, CSV, hex codes, etc.) directly to your device
Deletion: You can delete palettes at any time, and they are permanently removed from your device
4. Data Retention
Images: Not retained. Images are processed in-memory and are not saved to your device
Generated Palettes: Retained in the app's local storage only while you choose to keep them
User Data: No user data is collected or retained
App Settings: Only your local app preferences (such as UI preferences) may be stored locally on your device
You can delete all app data by:
Deleting the app from your device, or
Going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Dot Palette > Offload App (which keeps data) or Delete App (which removes all data)
5. Third-Party Services
Our App does NOT use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
Specifically, we do NOT use:

Firebase Analytics
Facebook SDK
Advertising networks
Crash reporting services that collect personal data
