Terms of Sale

CasualDotLook is made and sold by CasualDot (Shahrukh Aqiq, ABN 42 270 536 002), Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. In this document “we”, “us” and “our” mean CasualDot, and “you” means the person or business that buys or uses our products.

By buying or downloading from casualdot.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not buy.

Buying

• Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees.
• Payments are handled by Shopify Payments. We never see or store your full card details.
• After payment you get a download link and a tax receipt by email. Your licence starts when your payment is confirmed.
• Download links may expire. If you lose your files, email us with your order number and we will send them again.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Refunds

• Faulty or not as described: if the software has a problem we cannot fix, or it does not match the description on our website, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund. Email us with your order number and a short description or screenshot.
• Will not run on your system: if the software will not run on a system that meets the requirements listed on the product page, we will refund you in full.
• Change of mind: because the software is a digital download that cannot be returned, we do not normally refund for change of mind after the files have been downloaded. As a goodwill offer, if you have not downloaded the files you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
• Refunds go back to your original payment method. When you get a refund, your licence ends and you must delete the software.

Customers in the European Union and United Kingdom

If you live in the EU or the UK you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content delivered straight away, that right ends when the download starts, but only if you agreed at checkout that delivery can start immediately and confirmed you understand you will lose your right to cancel. Your order confirmation email records this consent. Your rights for faulty or misdescribed digital content are not affected.

Support and updates

• We give email support at shahrukh@casualdot.com and aim to reply within 2 business days, Canberra time.
• Updates within a major version are free for licence holders. We may charge for a new major version, and your existing licence keeps working.
• We do not promise the software will keep working with future versions of DaVinci Resolve, macOS or Windows that do not exist yet, but we will make reasonable efforts to keep it working.

Third-party software and trademarks

DaVinci Resolve is a trademark of Blackmagic Design Pty Ltd. CasualDotLook is an independent product and is not made, endorsed or supported by Blackmagic Design. Film stock, print film and camera brand names describe a visual style and belong to their owners; our looks are our own creative work and are not measured copies of real film stocks.
